Description

SEI is bringing a systems engineering approach to the Zoox mobility-as-a-service product. We are systems engineers working directly with other supporting ecosystem teams to develop and mature architectures, validations, tools, and processes inspired by systems engineering best practices.
This role will be responsible for building and maintaining the autonomous vehicle performance metrics introduced by new hardware, firmware, and AI software features. They will be working with a highly cross-functional team to understand and model the impact from the new features. Their work will directly contribute to Zoox’s major milestone releases and provide crucial data for executive decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS



    • BS/MS and 7+ Years of experience

    • Quantitative modeling work with proven track records
    • Excellent data analysis, cross-functional communication, and presentation skills
    • Knowledge in performance metrics in the auto industry, autonomous driving, consumer electronics
    • Analytical experience in Databricks, Google Sheet, and Python

    BONUS QUALIFICATIONS



      • Metrics ownership in autonomous driving is a big plus

      • Solid technical Background in one or more of the following areas: vehicle engineering, AI software, Perception (SW or HW)
      Responsibilities


        • Maintain the model and improve it to ensure high prediction accuracy

        • Communicate the model outcome to cross functional teams and executives
