Location: Västerås, Sweden Period: 2025-11-03 till 2026-11-02 Apply Before: 2025-10-31 Role Overview We’re hiring for one of our clients a Senior Systems Engineer who will independently lead and coordinate complex R&D software development projects, applying engineering principles to meet functional and non-functional requirements such as cost, quality, and time targets. The role involves providing technical consultancy to management and customers, driving improvements in operations, and ensuring adherence to established work processes and tools. What you'll do Lead, plan, and coordinate engineering activities across one or more disciplines. Manage requirements, software design, design reviews, and functional verification. Ensure that functional and non-functional targets (cost, quality, time) are met. Serve as a consultant to management and customers on advanced technical studies and solutions to complex problems. Coordinate major engineering tasks with substantial impact on the organization. Proactively develop and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction. Mentor and guide other engineers, ensuring adherence to work processes and utilization of provided tools. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience including leadership/management, or Another technical degree with more than 15 years of relevant work experience. Proven experience in R&D software development including requirement management, software design, and functional verification. Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional requirements (cost, quality, time). Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead complex engineering projects.
