Position Description: Provide day-to-day operations, sustainment, interoperability, and integration of current and future MILSATCOM, Protected MILSATCOM, and cryptographic systems’ specific architectures and capabilities. Identify and resolve current operational, and proposed future, MILSATCOM and Protected MILSATCOM systems’ architectures capability gaps, interoperability and integration challenges and potential problem areas. Identify, develop, and implement proactive operational procedures and maintenance measures to ensure the continued effective operation and interoperability of terminals and associated equipment. Perform assessments and analyses on proposed system modifications, enhancements, maintenance, and advanced program and technology insertion plans to evaluate potential impacts on current and future systems, operational concepts, system architectures, and capabilities. Provide on-site technical assistance as required to troubleshoot, resolve, and repair extremely technical and highly complex issues involving Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and Protected MILSATCOM terminals, architectures, and associated ancillary baseband, cryptography, and user interface equipment.
