Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Testing/QA Specialist to join our team for a contract role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in test planning and execution for complex systems, with expertise in modern methodologies and tools. This is a hybrid role with 7-month contract duration and candidate is required to come in office -3 days a week

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 10 years of experience in the process, planning, organizing, and implementing of testing efforts.
  • Extensive experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps and Microfocus ALM.
  • Proficient in Cloud technology (specifically Microsoft Azure), Agile, and DevOps.
  • Experience with AODA compliance auditing using tools like AXE and WAVE.
  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC and testing processes.
  • Experience with various testing types, including functional, non-functional, integration, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with databases such as IMS/DB2/SQL/Oracle and mainframe tools like TSO/SPF.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on testing strategy, test plans, and the selection of appropriate testing tools.
  • Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments.
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
  • Execute system integration tests, specialized tests, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with project leads and team members throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Create test data for various testing phases, including functional and business validation.
  • Identify and resolve problems and issues, and conduct AODA compliance audits.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress and results.
