Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue-collar and white-collar positions within the construction industry.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet manpower requirements for ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
• Handle bulk/mass recruitment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower within agreed timelines.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, databases, referrals, and other relevant channels.
• Recruit construction professionals including Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Supervisors, HSE Officers, Planning Engineers, Document Controllers, and other technical staff.
• Recruit skilled and semi-skilled workers including Masons, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Steel Fixers, Welders, Helpers, Drivers, and other construction trades.
• Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, assess candidates, and coordinate technical interviews with the concerned departments.
• Coordinate with manpower agencies and overseas recruitment partners for international sourcing and bulk hiring.
• Maintain and continuously develop a strong candidate database and talent pipeline for current and future manpower requirements.
• Coordinate the recruitment process from candidate sourcing and selection through offer, documentation, visa processing, and joining/mobilization.
• Negotiate offers and ensure candidates are properly informed about company policies, job requirements, compensation, and joining procedures.
• Track recruitment progress, maintain accurate recruitment records, and provide regular hiring status reports to management.
• Work closely with project managers, HR, and department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
• Ensure recruitment targets are achieved within the required time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on availability, salary trends, and recruitment practices within the construction manpower market.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, recruitment agencies, and other external sourcing partners.
• Ensure compliance with company recruitment procedures and applicable employment and visa requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.
• Strong experience in recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar manpower.
• Proven experience in bulk/mass recruitment for construction projects.
• Experience recruiting construction professionals such as Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Supervisors, HSE staff, and Document Controllers.
• Strong experience hiring skilled and semi-skilled workers such as Masons, Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, Steel Fixers, Helpers, Drivers, and other trades.
• Experience in overseas recruitment, manpower agencies, and international sourcing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment channels, job portals, social media, databases, and candidate sourcing techniques.
• Ability to manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening to selection, offer, visa coordination, and mobilization/joining.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight recruitment targets and project deadlines.
• Strong candidate database and market knowledge within the construction/manpower sector will be an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred
