GFL Environmental is seeking a Senior IT Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing corporate recruitment team in Vaughan, ON.
In this role, the Senior IT Talent Acquisition Partner will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for roles across our Information Technology service line. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to build recruitment strategies, source exceptional candidates, and deliver a seamless hiring experience from start to finish.

The Senior IT Talent Acquisition Partner will also own the following responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate IT and tech roles across North America
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft compelling job postings
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies to attract top-tier active and passive candidates
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on market insights, compensation trends, and hiring best practices
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for GFL
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Workday and compliance with internal processes
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in the tech talent space

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years focused on IT/technology roles
  • Proven success in either in-house or agency recruiting environments
  • Familiarity with Workday Recruiting or similar ATS systems (an asset)
  • Demonstrated sourcing expertise across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and other niche tech communities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple searches simultaneously
  • A proactive, curious mindset — always seeking to improve processes and stay ahead of trends
