SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist that will serve as a trusted advisor to the hiring managers on talent acquisition to support business objectives and business relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as Customer Relationship Manager for assigned business groups Develop and update staffing priorities Conduct weekly customer relationship meetings and update staffing reports Source and staff open positions, recruit diverse candidates Work with hiring managers on recruitment and selection plans Negotiate and manage external recruiting resources Conduct reference checks and establish employment offers Develop talent sourcing approaches (direct recruiting, job fairs, internet recruiting) Refer team members to appropriate headquarters services (benefits, issue resolution, drug and alcohol-free program) QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field Minimum seven years recruiting/HR experience or combination of higher education and experience Commercial construction recruiting experience preferred Ability to recommend hiring decisions to upper management Proficiency in PC and widely used software packages (Excel, MS Word, HRIS/database) Active listening skills and effective communication, openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 25% A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $96,400 MIN - $144,700 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
