JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform tax and accounting-related functions across the business, including but not limited to:

• Preparation of income tax returns, BASs, IASs, and financial statements
• Handling CGT, FBT, Division 7A, and other tax compliance matters
• Assisting with SMSF financials and tax returns
• Review of junior staff work and mentoring (Senior role)
• Managing client relationships and proactively offering business solutions
• Performing bookkeeping, payroll, superannuation, and WorkCover processing
• Applying knowledge of relevant taxation legislation to ensure compliance
• Engaging in general accounting, taxation, and business advisory services

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (essential)
• IPA / CA / CPA qualified, or currently studying
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public practice taxation
• Strong skills in interpreting and applying tax compliance regulations
• Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and BGL 360
• Excellent technical and communication skills
• Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a dynamic environment
