We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team, working closely with the Senior Tax Manager across a complex and evolving property portfolio. This role is ideally suited to a Big 4 or top-tier trained tax professional looking to transition into an in-house role with meaningful exposure to transactions, development activity and commercial decision-making. You will be involved in: Providing tax input into property acquisitions, disposals and developments Supporting GST structuring and technical analysis Managing GST, BAS and FBT obligations Supporting land tax forecasting and portfolio planning Contributing to tax effect accounting and year-end reporting Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide practical tax advice Liaising with the ATO, State Revenue Offices and external advisors Supporting improvements in tax governance, systems and controls This role offers significantly broader exposure than a traditional compliance role, with direct involvement in commercial and strategic initiatives. About You We’re looking for a high-performing tax professional with strong technical capability and a commercial mindset. You will bring: 4–8 years’ experience in Australian tax, ideally from Big 4 or a top-tier firm Strong experience in GST and indirect tax Exposure to tax advisory, transactions or structuring Experience working with corporate or property clients CA / CPA qualified (or near completion) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to engage and influence non-tax stakeholders Candidates with experience from Big 4 or top-tier professional services firms are strongly encouraged to apply.
