Responsibilities

• Executes the comprehensive review and preparation of complex individual, corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax returns.
• Leads the training, development, and mentorship of staff accountants, reviewing their workpapers to ensure accuracy and foster technical growth.
• Conducts in-depth tax research on intricate client matters to provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations.
• Assists senior leadership in developing and implementing proactive tax planning and business advisory strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Acts as a key point of contact for client communication, ensuring exceptional service and timely resolution of tax-related inquiries.
• Contributes to special projects and process improvement initiatives within the tax practice as needed.

Skills

• CPA (3 years of experience is preferred)
• CPA Candidate (3 years of experience is required)
• QuickBooks (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Thomson Reuters (3 years of experience is preferred)
