Description

THE SENIOR TAX & DATA ANALYST SUPPORTS THE GLOBAL TAX FUNCTION, FOCUSING ON TAX ACCOUNTING, COMPLIANCE, DATA ANALYSIS, AND REPORTING.

About the Opportunity

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions and disclosures
  • Maintain deferred tax schedules and prepare tax journal entries
  • Support tax compliance: gather data, prepare/administer tax returns, respond to notices
  • Assist in cash tax planning, forecasting, and tax installment calculations
  • Analyze and document income tax positions; liaise with tax authorities and advisors
  • Provide data and support for global transaction tax compliance and transfer pricing
  • Comply with ICFR/SOX requirements
  • Contribute to special projects, planning initiatives, and interdepartmental requests

About You

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS tax accounting, Canadian & US corporate tax
  • Advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in corporate tax (IFRS), preferably with multi-entity provisions
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
  • CPA designation and In-Depth Tax course preferred
  • Experience with Taxprep/TaxCycle, GST/VAT/Sales tax is an asset
