Summary: Provide strategic leadership for the tax department, develop business opportunities, mentor managers, and ensure delivery of exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple tax engagements for a diverse client base. Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion. Review a variety of tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, etc.). Oversee day-to-day project progress and ensure client satisfaction. Build and nurture long-term client relationships through proactive communication and strategic insights. Take initiative on business development opportunities and contribute to firm growth. Expand involvement in financial statement exposure and support financial reporting needs Qualifications Qualifications: CPA license required. 6 to 8 years of recent public accounting experience, with a strong focus on tax. Solid exposure to financial statement preparation or review. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with tax software; experience with CCH or similar platforms is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, client-driven setting.
