Job Description We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager with deep expertise in US international tax and tax provisioning. Strong compliance and advisory skills are essential. Experience in the gaming or any other highly regulated industry is a plus but not essential. We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join the growing bet365 US Tax function in Denver, Colorado. This newly created role reports directly to the Vice President of Tax and Tax Counsel and serves as a member of the US Tax function’s leadership team. This role entails owning direct tax matters for the bet365 US operating group and opportunities to partner with the UK Tax team on various global tax matters. Additionally, the Senior Tax Manager will assist with various tax projects and serve as a key subject matter expert across numerous business functions. This role represents an excellent growth opportunity within the dynamic and technically challenging US online gaming industry. The anticipated salary for this position is $125,000 – $175,000 annually. Qualifications 7+ years of overall professional tax experience primarily focused on US international tax advisory and compliance and tax provisioning and financial reporting, preferably with a mix of public accounting and in-house tax function experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required. An active CPA license or J.D. is strongly preferred. Master’s degree or LL.M. in tax or accounting is a major plus. Experience serving as a tax subject matter expert for various internal functions (e.g., finance, procurement, legal, and business development) is a significant advantage. Experience partnering with product, technology, and data teams on finance and tax transformation initiatives and technology implementation projects is a major plus. Experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated industries is a plus. Additional Information Partner with the Vice President of Tax and Tax Counsel and the other members of his leadership team to develop and deploy the future vision for the US Tax function. Oversee all US international tax matters and collaborate with the UK Tax team on all global tax matters. Co-own all US tax provisioning and financial reporting processes. Manage clear internal timelines and processes to ensure all filings are submitted by their respective due dates in each country and that payments are made in a timely manner. Serve as a key international tax and tax related financial reporting subject matter expert for other internal business functions especially the accounting, legal, procurement, and business development functions. Conduct tax research, interpret tax laws, and draft/review tax position memos. Partner with the Tax Legal team to own all US international tax controversy matters. Partner with product, technology, and data teams on finance and tax transformation initiatives and technology implementation projects.
