We are working with a well-established and expanding independent accountancy firm that is currently looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients and managing a diverse portfolio of both corporate and personal tax matters. • Take the lead in overseeing the firm’s tax function, with direct reporting to the Partners
• Deliver strategic tax planning and high-level advice to a wide range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth individuals
• Manage corporate tax compliance for the firm’s most significant and complex clients
• Contribute to advisory projects including business succession planning, profit extraction strategies, corporate restructures, M&A activity, capital allowances, share schemes, and valuations
• Review and approve complex corporate and personal tax returns and computations
• Support and develop junior team members through training, mentoring, and performance management
• Handle correspondence and negotiations with HMRC, including managing enquiries and disputes
• Stay abreast of evolving tax legislation to ensure the firm maintains compliance and applies best practices
• Play an active role in business development by identifying new service opportunities and supporting proposal and pitch efforts
