The successful candidate will play a central role in the coordination, organisation and delivery of the undergraduate clinical teaching program for 3 sessions per week (annual average) to students fromUniversity of Newcastle. A close working relationship with theUndergraduate Medical Education Coordinator ensures a well-structured teaching experience. The candidate will also coordinate the Departments weekly teaching.The remaining 7 sessions will consist of clinical duties, research and professional development. The on-call commitment is second on call in a 1:9 rota.
The main clinical duties will be across both emergency and elective orthopaedic care. Opportunities for clinical research are available and can be tailored to individual requirements
