Job Description Job Summary Managing the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects of privilege banking services for UOB's affluent customers. Key Responsibilities Manage the team to provide efficient and effective privilege banking services to UOB's affluent customers. This includes managing the team's workload, setting priorities, and ensuring that service standards are met. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the team's operations. This includes identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and monitoring performance against benchmarks. Identify opportunities to expand and diversify the range of privilege banking services offered by UOB. This includes conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, and developing new products or services to meet those needs. Build strong relationships with stakeholders within UOB and beyond. This includes collaborating with other departments within UOB, as well as external partners and vendors who support the team's operations. Lead the team in staying updated on industry trends and developments related to privilege banking. This includes attending conferences and seminars, reading relevant publications, and participating in networking events. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies governing privilege banking services. This includes staying up-to-date on changes to regulatory requirements and working closely with relevant government agencies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in privilege banking services. Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management. Qualifications University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in wealth management or privilege banking, preferably in a managerial role. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and banking regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on insights derived from the analysis. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
