Key Responsibilities This role is responsible for leading accounting operations, financial reporting, and costing activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective financial control. The position also partners with cross-functional teams to support business performance and continuous improvement. General Accounting - Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, assets) and ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. - Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in line with local regulations.   Financial Closing - Lead monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate financial data and reporting. - Review trial balance, reconcile accounts, and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.   Tax Compliance - Prepare and review tax reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. - Work with tax authorities and manage tax-related risks.   Team Management - Lead, coach, and develop accounting team; drive performance management and continuous improvement. - Ensure effective communication and collaboration within team and across departments.   Reporting & Audit - Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and support internal/external audits. - Work with auditors and review financial statements before finalization.   Costing & Financial Analysis - Manage cost accounting, inventory reports, and gross margin analysis. - Partner with Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.   Job Requirements  Education - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Experience - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company. - At least 1 year of team lead/supervisory experience is preferred. Skills - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure. - Intermediate English communication skills.
