Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.  About the roleThe City Rangers team are seeking a motivated Senior Team Leader to support the Area Manager Ordinance in coordinating operational matters, planning, and providing clear direction to team leaders and members. This role is responsible for helping define challenges and objectives, ensuring teams are engaged and committed to delivering outcomes, and  contributing to research and technical advice for formal responses to Executives and Councillors. In this role you will: provide leadership and operational support to team leaders delivering compliance and enforcement services across a range of legislation conduct research and provide technical advice for responses to enquiries and requests from Executives and Councillors coach, develop and support team leaders in managing staff performance, KPIs, and service expectations guide team leaders in managing employees on Return-to-Work programs and other staff matters build strong relationships and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless services identify opportunities to improve service delivery, systems and processes, and support implementation of change respond to and escalate incidents or issues, ensuring WHS obligations are met and Council’s reputation is maintained issue notices and orders for breaches of legislation as required.
