  • Ongoing full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
  • Office location Parramatta/Wollongong/Queanbeyan/Newcastle – Other Regional location or Hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $152,677 to $167,562 + super

Our team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Team Leader, Stewardship Support Program to lead a team responsible for conducting biodiversity stewardship assessments to support the Biodiversity Offset Scheme.
The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team of ecologists, GIS analysts and program staff to deliver timely and high-quality biodiversity assessments. The role monitors budget and manages priorities to ensure the program remains on-track and works closely with the program manager to resolve challenging issues and improve processes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A tertiary qualification in environmental science or equivalent field
  • A current Class C Driver’s License
  • Willing and able to assist with ecological fieldwork which involves travel.
