Trainlines Technology & Data teams represent the company’s most significant area of investment as we continue to build upon our market positioning of being Europe’s most downloaded travel app. As we strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible for our users innovating is at the core of how we think and what we do and as Technology and Data teams we continue to challenge ourselves to transform every day and optimise for velocity, quality and costs leveraging emerging technological trends.
As part of this mission we are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Tech Operations Analyst as part of our Technical Operations team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence through data analysis, performance monitoring, and tool optimisation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage tools such as Jira, Tableau and other data sources, developing dashboards and insights that inform decision-making and enable the establishment of performance baselines.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Analyse operational data from tools like Jira, Plandek, and OKR platforms to identify trends and inefficiencies. Build dashboards (e.g., Tableau) that provide clear, actionable insights.
Optimise Jira usage across teams — from custom field management to workflow configuration — ensuring it aligns with OKRs and supports transparency.
Partner with leadership to define, track, and report on OKRs. Help establish performance baselines to improve forecasting and capacity planning.
Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to understand requirements, surface the right metrics, and communicate insights clearly.
Proactively identify ways to enhance our data quality and streamline operational processes. Stay up to date on best practices in analytics and tooling.
