As a Senior Tech UX/UI Designer, you’ll drive the creation of cutting-edge pipelines, workflows, and systems that empower designers and artists to bring their visions to life with precision and power.
Collaborate closely with a passionate team of UX/UI designers, engine engineers, and game developers to elevate the Diablo experience to new, hellish heights. This is your chance to leave your mark on one of gaming’s most iconic franchises—by forging the tools that make the darkness beautiful.
This role offers a flexible hybrid work week, with a mix of remote and on-site days. While hybrid is the standard arrangement, you’re also welcome to work on-site full-time if you prefer. Our primary studio locations are in Albany, NY, and Irvine, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a UI implementer, Tech UX/UI, or similar on public products
  • Experience with UX implementation in a modern engine or platform (e.g. Unity, Unreal, Noesis or HTML5)
  • Ability to adhere to a project’s existing visual and interaction patterns
  • Experience with designing for multiple control schemes (e.g. Controllers, Mouse & Keyboard and/or Touch Screen etc.)
  • Positive attitude around receiving and providing objective feedback
  • A passion for video games, user experience design and user interface design
  • A portfolio showing a solid grasp of usability design principles, user flows and prototypes you have created for UI screens, as well as samples of your visual design ability
Responsibilities
  • Report to the lead Tech UX/UI, further improve existing UX design, UI art, UI VFX, UI Engine Tools, UX/UI Development pipelines and collaborative workflows
  • Design and script UX/UI development tools to improve UX/UI development efficiency
  • Partner with engine team and game engineer team to plan and execute in-game UX/UI development tools
  • Coach, mentor and support the rest of UX/UI team with implementation best practices
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with game development stakeholders
  • Continually seek cutting edge UX/UI implementation tools and procedures in video game industry
