Core Responsibilities –

London Weighting - £4267
Thames Barrier High Voltage Engineer MFF - £15,000
Standby Payments role for a 1in2 week standby for incident role – approximately 26 weeks per annum 26 x £167.62 = £4358
CNI Allowance (When trained and competent in incident role) - £3000
The team
Joining our friendly and essential London MEICA team you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work alongside an experienced team to carry out operations and deliver large capital projects, planned / reactive maintenance on electrical systems ensuring the reliability of equipment and machinery and equipment across Thames Tidal Defences assets.

Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
The role will be based in Charlton London and interviews will be held in October/November 2025
