JOB TITLE: Senior Technical Application Specialist

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of structured delivery environments, including release planning and defect management.
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot technical issues across application layers.
• Experience working with APIs and third-party vendors in a regulated or structured setting.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and collaborate across teams.
• Able to coordinate and support structured release cycles, including pre-release testing, deployment, and post-release validation.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright) is a plus.

• Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
• Proven experience in bringing together individuals to form a highly effective team with a strong team identity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

• Two in a Box Model : Work closely with the Product Owner to oversee and guide the team within Nucleus, collaborating closely with business, development, and third-party resources.
• Technical Oversight : Facilitate code reviews, resolve defects, and mentor team members, including junior engineers and partner resources.
• Project Management : Handle broader delivery aspects such as risk assessment, project planning, and maintaining documentation.
• Implementation Support : Provide support for off-hours implementations.
• Automation Integration : Enhance automation within the space and drive innovation within the team.
• Innovation Focus : Continuously seek and implement innovative approaches to improve processes and solutions.
