Summary As a Senior Technical Architect (Business & Platform), you will serve as a strategic force at the intersection of technology and business, driving the long-term technical vision of our platform. With 12+ years of experience, you will lead the design and evolution of a resilient, scalable, and future-ready architecture that directly supports our market objectives. Your ability to bridge gaps between engineering teams, product leadership, and executive stakeholders makes you a vital connective tissue across the organization. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design and governance of platform architecture across cloud, microservices, data, and security domains. Collaborate with product, engineering, and SRE teams to align technical roadmaps with business priorities, including time-to-market and ROI. Champion scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems through proactive technical guidance and architecture reviews. Act as a technical mentor and escalation point, unblocking teams stuck in complex implementation challenges. Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization. Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their strategic fit, ensuring innovation is balanced with stability and risk. Partner with leadership to translate business vision into technical execution plans and measurable outcomes. Drive platform modernization initiatives, including migration strategies, legacy system decomposition, and cloud optimization. Requirements Requirements: 12+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, with a proven track record in large-scale, distributed systems. Expertise across the full technology stack: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, API design, data architecture, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy and influence business decisions at the executive level. Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency in production environments. Experience leading cross-functional teams and serving as a trusted advisor to product and engineering leaders. Proven success in driving architectural change, reducing technical debt, and improving delivery velocity. Excellent communication and collaboration skills—able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
