About the Role
The Senior Technical Business Analyst in BOQ’s Group Tech division will play a vital role in gathering requirements from financial crime business units and ensuring they are communicated effectively to platform vendors for development. This position requires a strong background in developing, implementing, and managing financial crime platforms, as well as experience in vendor management and contract oversight. This role will assist stakeholders in identifying problems and expected outcomes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and timely business analysis and design across all projects, with a focus on enhancing financial crime platform capabilities.
About you
Who are we looking for? An individual with extensive experience in business analysis roles focused on financial crime platforms, and at least five years in vendor and contract management, particularly with platforms like Symphony AI Netreveal and BIOCatch. Your expertise extends to transaction monitoring, sanction screening, and fraud prevention, alongside a deep understanding of AML, KYC, and CDD regulations. You are proficient in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, skilled in SQL and data analysis techniques, and adept at interpreting and validating data inputs. You have a solid grasp of business process improvement methodologies, process modeling, and business writing.
