Employment Type Permanent Closing Date 19 Mar 2026 11:59pm Job Title Senior Technical Delivery Lead Job Summary Job Description The Opportunity Global Networks & Technology – Security & Operations is responsible for protecting Telstra’s networks, platforms and services by delivering secure, resilient and reliable technology outcomes. As a Senior Technical Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of complex security initiatives across Telstra’s ICT and Telco environments. You will operate across technology, governance and finance, ensuring delivery excellence while enabling secure outcomes at scale What You’ll Do Lead technical delivery of security capabilities across ICT infrastructure, Telco networking and Telstra products—owning time, quality, cost and outcomes. Facilitate Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe): run sprint ceremonies, manage Jira boards, epics and stories, and track velocity. Build and lead governance: run SteerCo/Governance forums, craft exec dashboards and reports, manage change, risks and issues. Manage end‑to‑end financials: budgeting, forecasting, accruals and compliance in partnership with Finance. Orchestrate cross‑functional delivery with Procurement, Legal, Finance, technical chapters and external partners. What You’ll Bring 5+ years leading end‑to‑end projects in ICT, Telecommunications or Cybersecurity. Hands‑on cyber/security engineering project delivery. Executive‑level stakeholder engagement and communication. Matrix leadership with strong financial acumen. Degree‑qualified with Prince2/PMBOK/Scrum (or equivalent). Familiarity with Telstra PMO and enterprise governance standards. Highly regarded Exposure to Sapphire, Taulia, AGS, Ability, EPM365 and N&IT delivery (QBR/Gameplan).
