EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • High proficiency in customer communications and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP solutions, including S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration paths, and tools.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; German language skills are an asset.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 8 years of SAP Technical Administration or SAP Technical Consulting with SAP Basis skills.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles, with demonstrated expertise in strategic account management and service delivery
  • Experience in solution design, enterprise architecture, and SAP implementation.
  • Knowledge of SAP RISE or ECS experience is preferred.
  • Experience and certifications with Hyperscalers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) are a big advantage
  • Experience in technical project planning, implementation, and configuration.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven client leadership and decision-making abilities to manage complex projects and high-pressure scenarios.
  • Strong background in SAP solutions, technology, and products, and cloud technology.
  • Proven skills in escalation management, stakeholder engagement, and contract management.
  • Competency in multi-tasking and managing multiple engagements in parallel.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Certifications in SAP Basis/Application, Project Management, or Hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management standards (e.g., ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and methodologies for SAP IT operations.
  • Experience in leading international and multicultural teams.

THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA. HYBRID IS 3-DAYS WEEK ONSITE & 2-DAYS WEEK REMOTE.

This is your opportunity to take a client management role in delivering transformative cloud solutions for our clients as a Senior Technical Engagement Manager in SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS). This position is designed for a Senior SAP BASIS professional with a proven track record in managing complex client engagements and driving innovation in cloud service delivery.
As a Technical Engagement Manager, you will not only guard the successful delivery of tailored SAP Enterprise Cloud Services but also play a pivotal role in shaping client strategies. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality services, supporting Rise with SAP customers in their SAP S/4HANA adoption journey, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and engagement working along with other roles in SAP.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for leading customer communication and coordination as a representative of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS).
  • Accountability as the single orchestrator for End2End delivery from SAP ECS
  • Serve as the primary contact for private cloud customers for delivery topics, technology discussions and other contractual entitlements as per contract.
  • Building and maintaining trusted client relationships through a deep understanding of their business challenges and goals.
  • Introduce scope, roles and responsibilities as part of customer onboarding to establish and strengthen the partnership.
  • Develop strategic technical engagement via service planning with clients by acting as a trusted advisor to establish a focus on core services delivered.
  • Proactive management of operational security risk by ensuring maintenance activities are addressed promptly, making customers aware of compliance reports and closure of risk letters.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in safeguarding and sharing innovation roadmap with the customer.
  • Maintain close collaboration with ECS Technical Operations to drive operational topics.
  • Establish good relationship with all customer facing roles in SAP to provide One SAP experience.
  • Guide customers on key topics like Business Continuity, Security & Compliance.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive issue mitigation and escalation management.
