Description

WHO WE ARE:

For over 20 years, Global Relay has set the standard in enterprise information archiving with industry-leading cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world’s most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.
Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It’s a place where you can genuinely make an impact – and be recognized for it.
We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Global Relay is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our Archive Product Management team. In this role, you’ll own specific components and features of the Archive portfolio that drive platform scalability, availability, and resilience across our message ingestion and enrichment pipeline.
You’ll collaborate closely with agile teams, fellow Product Managers, UX, and customer-facing teams to deliver on the product roadmap - bringing forward new initiatives and impactful features through the full development cycle. Your work will directly influence enterprise clients across industries such as finance, insurance, healthcare, and energy.
Senior TPMs play a key role in delivering the product roadmap, partnering with Product Managers to ensure priorities are clear, achievable, and strategically aligned. They reliably lead large, complex initiatives that often span multiple teams. Responsibilities include guiding early requirement discovery and analysis, translating them into releases, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Senior TPMs also work hand-in-hand with Team Leads, Architects, and UX/UI to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
Day-to-day, TPMs actively participate in (and often lead) agile ceremonies - refining backlogs, planning sprints, accepting completed stories, tracking progress, and managing key release activities such as documentation and training.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in a dynamic team environment, the Senior TPM is responsible for:

  • Responsible for delivery of components / features in alignment with strategy and the broader roadmap for Reporting.
  • Lead large complex initiatives from roadmap to delivery with minimal support & guidance from product managers.
  • Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills.
  • Recognized as a go-to expert and natural leader within your product line.
  • Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts.
  • Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of their platform components, and how those components interact with the rest of the platform.
  • Identify and coordinate cross-component dependencies throughout the development process.
  • Proven ability and success at presenting to the team, the business, C-level, and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Support, clients, and other TPMs to produce and manage their component’s backlog and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Recognized as a go-to expert and natural leader within your product line.
  • Collaborate with other TPMs, Architects, UI/UX, and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase.
  • Facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other team meetings with your agile team(s)
  • Support Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Provisioning, Professional Services, Technical Documentation, Training, and Technical Support throughout the release process with training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities.
