As the Senior Technical Product Owner – Fraud Technology, you will report to the Chapter Lead – Fraud and Scam Technology Delivery Management. You will drive the evolution of CBA’s real-time fraud prevention platforms. Leveraging your background in product management, product delivery, solution design, architecture, and engineering concepts, you will translate complex business and technology needs into clear, executable outcomes. Partnering with exceptional engineers, solution architects, and data specialists, you will shape technical product strategy, prioritise delivery backlogs, and convert ambitious visions into scalable, resilient systems that protect millions of Australians every day. We’re interested in hearing from people who: Lead end-to-end product and project delivery of complex fraud technology and infrastructure and capability uplift, driving lifecycle, maintenance, and continuous innovation across core fraud platforms. Steer a highly technical squad of engineers, testers, and solution architects to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in an agile, product-focused environment. Drive major transformation initiatives, including the migration of fraud systems from legacy data centres into next-generation infrastructure environments. Collaborate across domains, liaising with Fraud Risk, Analytics, Ops, Cyber, and Infrastructure teams to align business objectives with technical and product delivery outcomes. Champion engineering and product excellence, ensuring orchestration across upstream and downstream systems with a strong architectural and solution-minded approach. Own delivery visibility, managing JIRA dashboards, sprint ceremonies, and LT reporting to maintain transparency, prioritisation, and progress across stakeholders. Navigate complexity with precision, managing interdependencies, risks, and organisational change to deliver customer, business, and product uplift outcomes. Tech skills: Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner and or similar with a strong foundation in software architecture and engineering, bridging technical strategy with business outcomes in complex Fraud and Scams ecosystems. Background in product delivery and or leadership with a strong technical foundation in engineering, infrastructure, and solutions architecture. Extensive experience leading Agile product teams, driving delivery excellence and innovation across high-performing fraud, payments, and digital banking platforms. Expert in product strategy and roadmap definition, translating business objectives into scalable, secure, and data-driven technology solutions. A track record delivering enterprise-grade projects across Fraud, Digital/Online Banking, CommBiz, Payments, and Cards & Merchants domains is advantageous. Deep technical fluency, enabling effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and data scientists to design and implement resilient system engineering capabilities. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, adept at influencing executive decision-making and aligning cross-functional delivery. Agile and delivery-focused leader, experienced working within Agile matrix structures, continuously improving team velocity and product quality.
