The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join the team in North Charleston, SC; El Segundo, CA; Kent, WA; Seattle, WA; or Tukwila, WA.
We are excited to invite a highly capable and collaborative Senior Technical Product Owner to join our team and drive the modernization of our integration architecture, applications, and patterns within the Data Integrations product family, which includes Message Bus & Integration and Secure File Transfer.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Agile teams, and business stakeholders to lead the delivery of modernization features that not only stabilize our current systems but also lay the groundwork for scalable, future-ready capabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in enterprise integration technologies, hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, and the ability to effectively coordinate across complex stakeholder groups. Experience as a developer or architect will be a significant advantage.
If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and help shape the future of our integration solutions, we want you on our team!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership, solution architecture, or enterprise technical delivery
  • 3+ years of experience with legacy-to-modern architectural transformations
  • Experience working with enterprise integration products such as Message Bus, API Management, Streaming Services, or Managed File Transfer
  • Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders across technical and business teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience as a developer or technical lead
  • Experience working on high-profile, cross-application modernization programs
  • Experience with system lifecycle planning, technical debt management, and release readiness
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical bridge between Product Management and Agile delivery teams, translating modernization goals into actionable technical requirements
  • Partner with Product Managers to define modernization priorities, architectural direction, and business value
  • Own and groom the modernization feature backlog, ensuring clarity and technical feasibility
  • Work closely with Architects to align modernization patterns and application refactoring to enterprise strategy
  • Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to Agile teams delivering modernization features
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, security, and infrastructure teams to mitigate risks and support a stable transition from legacy to modern systems
  • Monitor progress, surface technical blockers, and help drive resolutions across cross-functional teams
  • Support demos, stakeholder reviews, and agile ceremonies, acting as a consistent technical voice
  • Coordinate modernization milestones across multiple application teams and leadership stakeholders
