Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled software Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive execution and deliverables for vehicle infotainment systems. This role is crucial to meet aggressive release, performance, quality, and feature-delivery goals across vehicle targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software release lifecycle, development, and hardware-software integration, coupled with expert program management skills. Responsibilities Drive infotainment software deliverables, including requirements alignment, schedule, and application development Support partner negotiations to deliver the best working model and product Drive technical delivery alignment across distributed teams in different time zones Establish and maintain program schedules across features, releases, and workstreams Collaborate closely with engineering, testing, and analytics teams to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and technical success metrics. Act as a bridge between Rivian and Volkswagen engineering cultures, harmonizing disparate development processes into a unified execution engine. Identify and mitigate bottlenecks between hardware availability (test benches/prototype vehicles) and software release cycles. Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical fields. Proven ability to influence without authority in a complex, multi-stakeholder, cross-functional environment. Expert in agile processes and running software teams using JIRA, Confluence, and other program management tools. Exceptional English communication skills, with a track record of distilling complex technical data into executive-level briefings Familiarity with test automation frameworks and quality assurance processes. 5+ years of experience in technical program/product management Bonus qualifications Automotive industry experience Working knowledge of Figma, Android, Gitlab, and CI/CD workflow Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) Pay Disclosure Total compensation packages for this position include base salary, eligibility for an annual performance bonus, and eligibility for equity.
