This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 4400000 (ie INR 44 LPA) In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery across data engineering, cloud platforms, and analytics ecosystems. You will be responsible for creating delivery frameworks, developing project timelines, and ensuring all phases—from planning and design to implementation and release—are executed with precision and quality. You will serve as a key connection point between stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into robust technical solutions. Your leadership will guide architectural decisions, data pipeline strategies, and engineering best practices across platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, and modern orchestration tools. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Delivery Define and manage complete project delivery plans for data engineering and analytics initiatives. Develop comprehensive schedules, sprint plans, effort estimates, and resource allocation strategies. Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery across all project milestones. Track and manage risks, dependencies, scope changes, and delivery challenges using Agile or hybrid methodologies. Drive accountability, provide regular project updates, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 2. Technical Leadership Act as the core bridge between business needs and technical execution. Translate functional requirements into detailed data engineering tasks and technical specifications. Review and validate data architecture, design documents, ETL/ELT strategies, and pipeline solutions across platforms (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, etc.). Ensure all data engineering and architecture decisions align with enterprise guidelines and modern data standards. Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and best-practice governance for scalable and secure solutions. What Makes You a Great Fit Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. Proven expertise in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and modern orchestration frameworks. Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale data projects, and navigate dynamic technical environments. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with an analytical mindset for problem-solving. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience driving project outcomes in technology-focused initiatives. Ability to align business objectives with technical strategies, ensuring both efficiency and quality.
