Title: Senior Technical Recruiter (AI & Engineering) – Contract, Remote Location: Remote, US-based (SF Bay Area Preferred) Employment Type: Full-time Contract (3-6 months with option to extend) Sustainable Talent is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to support one of our leading technology clients through an embedded recruiting partnership. In this role, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top-tier AI and Engineering talent. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned technical recruiter with strong in-house recruiting experience, a deep understanding of technical hiring, and the ability to operate strategically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While the role is fully remote, candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area are strongly preferred. What You’ll Do Own full-cycle recruiting for AI, Machine Learning, and Software Engineering roles Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to define hiring strategies, role requirements, and interview processes Build and maintain high-quality pipelines using proactive sourcing, referrals, and market insights Conduct technical screening calls and manage candidate engagement through offer stages Track and report on recruiting metrics to inform hiring decisions Deliver a high-touch, inclusive candidate experience while strengthening the employer brand What You Bring 5+ years of technical recruiting experience (AI/ML and Engineering focus preferred) In-house recruiting experience required (startup or high-growth tech environment preferred) Strong technical acumen and ability to recruit complex, highly specialized roles Proven ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and hiring managers Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging recruiting metrics Experience with ATS and sourcing tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) Why Join Sustainable Talent?
