Description

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to be involved in an onshore Oil & Gas project in 𝗖𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼, 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁. The role focuses on Technical Safety / Process Safety engineering activities, ensuring safety in design, reviewing engineering deliverables and supporting the project from design phases through construction, commissioning, startup and handover. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: • Review and update Technical Safety deliverables, including QRA, FERA, EERA, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL assessments, F&G Design, Active/Passive Fire Protection and Hazardous Area Classification • Participate in engineering workshops and project design reviews, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and 3D Model Reviews • Coordinate with Engineering disciplines, Contractors, Vendors, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and HSE • Support site visits, analyse field-raised issues, collect data and propose technical solutions • Ensure technical consistency with other disciplines such as Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Piping and Mechanical • Provide technical support and guidance on safety design requirements and applicable standards 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering or equivalent • Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas experience • Minimum 10 years of Onshore/Offshore Engineering experience • Strong experience in Technical Safety / Process Safety deliverables • Good knowledge of Risk Identification and Risk Assessment methodologies • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs • Good background in Technical Safety from construction and commissioning perspectives • Previous experience in the full project lifecycle, from initialization to startup and handover • Fluent in English • Chartered Engineer or certified Process Safety Practitioner status will be considered a plus 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: • Job location: Cairo, Egypt — office based, with possible site interactions • Seniority: Senior Technical Safety Engineer • Starting date: ASAP • Duration: 12 months, renewable • Working hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week If you are interested, please apply or share this opportunity. #technicalsafety #processsafety #lossprevention #safetyengineering #oilandgas #engineeringjobs #onshore #offshore #QRA #HAZOP #HAZID #LOPA #SIL #FERA #EERA #fireandgas #oilandgasjobs #Egypt #Cairo
