Responsibilities Contribute to the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of installations by ensuring robust barrier management. Provide expert advice on technical safety, supporting projects with digitalization initiatives. Conduct quality assurance for analyses related to firewater systems (e.g., PIPENET). Support projects and assets both onshore and offshore as required. Quality assure technical documentation and participate in relevant workshops and reviews. Follow up on findings from analyses, audits, and incidents to ensure closure. Contribute to the professional development and transfer of experience across teams. Drive the continuous improvement of technical safety processes and systems. Required expertise Master’s degree in a relevant field; extensive relevant experience can compensate for formal education. An engineering background (e.g., mechanical, electrical) is highly preferred. Project experience, particularly with Life Cycle Information (LCI), is a significant advantage. Familiarity with regulatory standards within the petroleum industry. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive progress. Proven ability to work with and comprehend complex engineering data and concepts. Customer-focused mindset with excellent planning and prioritization skills. Understanding of data procurement processes and integrations between engineering software systems is beneficial. Language: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Norwegian and English. Location: Stavanger, Norway (requires offshore work) Work schedule: Full-time Duration: This is a temporary assignment from February 2026 to February 2027.
