JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Solutions/Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Design and architect innovative AI/ML solutions leveraging AWS services
  • Consult with clients to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate AWS technologies
  • Create detailed technical proposals and solution designs
  • Lead pre-sales activities and support the sales team in closing opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, ML, and cloud technologies

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective
  • Client Consultation
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements
  • Recommend appropriate AWS services and technologies
  • Provide expert guidance on AI/ML best practices and implementation strategies
  • Pre-Sales Support
  • Create compelling technical proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop winning strategies
  • Conduct technical deep-dives and proof-of-concept demonstrations
  • Thought Leadership
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and AWS services
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to refine solution offerings
  • Contribute to the development of reusable assets and accelerators
  • Participate in AWS partner programs and certifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on GAI/ML in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Deep expertise in AWS AI/ML services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend, Rekognition)
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in pre-sales and technical consulting with large clients
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Specialty) preferred
  • Language skills: German and English, native or C1-level
