Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in a customer-facing role troubleshooting hardware, software, in cloud or on-premises server infrastructure management, including diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware, and server hardware.
  • Ability to lift/move 50lb (23kg) of equipment and ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Computer Networking such as TCP/IP, Routing, Load balancing, etc.
  • Experience debugging workload issues across multi node environments.
  • Experience with performing component-level repairs on IT equipment.
  • Experience working with public cloud like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud computing platform.
  • Understanding of basic web technologies like HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Manage capacity deployment by understanding and supporting build milestones and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level issues and improve diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques for faster recovery.
  • Execute the deployment and configuration of integrated hardware and software solutions remotely and on-site.
  • Utilize software tools for essential functions such as inventory management and OS configuration/troubleshooting.
  • Develop and improve documentation for new platforms and support procedures.
