Title: Senior Technical Specialist ( DBT ) Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai Education: Any Degree ( Computer Science ) Job Description: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions * Build and manage dbt models, including: * Incremental models * Snapshots * Tests * Macros * Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis * Implement and maintain data models (dimensional/star/snowflake schemas) * Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions * Build and maintain semantic layers for business consumption * Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance Must-Have Skills * Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool) -- hands-on experience is mandatory * Advanced SQL proficiency * Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling concepts * Experience in building and managing semantic layers Good-to-Have Skills (Optional): * Experience with BI tools such as: * Power BI * Looker * Tableau * Amazon QuickSight * Exposure to cloud data platforms like: * Amazon Redshift * Snowflake * Databricks * Experience in DAG creation using Apache Airflow * Exposure to AI/ML models or agents for development, testing, or deployment automation * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as: * Terraform * Pulumi * AWS CloudFormation Datavail is a leading provider of data management, application development, analytics, and cloud services, with more than 1,000 professionals helping clients build and manage applications and data via a world-class tech-enabled delivery platform and software solutions across all leading technologies.
