Description

SENIOR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Are you an experienced and driven IT professional with a strong background in networking and server management? We’re seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to join a dynamic environment to keep critical systems running seamlessly. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic IT decisions and participate in key initiatives across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Significant hands-on experience with server management, network monitoring, and security.
  • Experience with VOIP, telephony systems, and providing excellent customer service to end users.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently while also collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high-quality technical operations.
  • Please note: We’re specifically seeking candidates with current, hands-on server and network experience. Outdated server backgrounds or a lack of practical expertise would not be a fit.
Responsibilities

  • Manage daily network operations, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and proactive monitoring.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related infrastructure.

  • Provide hands-on user support, assisting with devices and connectivity to keep teams productive.
  • Secure systems and networks by implementing and maintaining appropriate access controls and security measures.
  • Collaborate on quarterly meetings, monthly government affairs roundtables, and major events, offering your expertise to help shape IT strategy and influence R&D budgets.
