We’re looking for a Senior Technical Specialist / Platform Engineer to join our dynamic Traded Risk Technology team and lead the way in building robust, scalable, and automated solutions for a top-tier financial institution.

ESSENTIAL MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or technical leadership roles.
• Strong command of Unix scripting and Oracle SQL.
• Deep understanding of Credit Risk in a capital markets environment.
• Solid experience with batch schedulers like Control-M or Autosys.
• A passion for automation, clean code, and efficient system design.
• Bonus if you’ve worked with Java, Python, or platforms like Murex, Calypso, or FIS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-based environments is a plus.

• Lead the engineering strategy and build standardized, scalable frameworks within traded risk technology.
• Deliver hands-on development using Unix scripting (bash/shell), Oracle SQL, and optionally Python or Java.
• Design and implement efficient batch processing systems with tools like Control-M or Autosys.
• Champion automation and reusability, transforming manual tasks into streamlined, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, driving innovation in credit risk management.
