SENIOR TECHNICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST, MECM DEPLOYMENT:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Technical Systems Analyst, MECM Deployment for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR TECHNICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST, MECM DEPLOYMENT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project focuses on Vulnerability & Patch Management, aiming to enhance the bank’s scanning capabilities related to vulnerable software. The role involves clearing P1-P3 vulnerabilities, documenting processes, and implementing long-term solutions.

SENIOR TECHNICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST, MECM DEPLOYMENT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong background in software deployment practices.
  • Expert level proficiency in MECM with configuration and troubleshooting guides.
  • Scripting knowledge – PowerShell, Python.
  • Documentation Writing - create and update documentation on deployment processes.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.

SENIOR TECHNICAL SYSTEMS ANALYST, MECM DEPLOYMENT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability and patch management.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Experience in a financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of additional deployment tools.
Responsibilities
  • Receive deployment requests for all Enterprise Software Deployments.
  • Utilize MECM to create, manage, and track all deployments.
  • Identify and investigate failed deployments for appropriate escalation.
  • Provide compliance updates to Release Managers following all deployments.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of MECM Collections and Deployments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment.
  • Monitor and address issues reported in the Service Now group bin or vulnerability report.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries within the team mailbox in a timely fashion.
  • Raise and track deployment issues regularly, remove barriers, and resolve issues of varying complexity.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate failed deployments.
