Description

WE HELP THE WORLD RUN BETTER

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.
SAP Enterprise Asset Management is a solution that enables companies to manage the whole lifecycle of physical assets including capital planning, procurement, installation, performance, maintenance, compliance, risk management, and asset disposal. SAP Asset Management is part of SAP’s very successful S/4HANA portfolio.
As a technical writer / user assistance (UA) developer, you will be researching, planning, and creating user assistance (UA) deliverables (both text and multimedia) in close collaboration with the development teams, UX designers, and other stakeholders to enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP EAM. You will be responsible for creating and updating various types of content, including texts within the software, on-screen help, documentation published on the SAP Help Portal, and release highlight videos.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfill roles as both a dedicated member of the EAM team and an integrated member of a scrum team that uses the agile development process
  • Work closely with scrum team members to provide design feedback, user interface text, and documentation in bi-weekly development sprints
  • Document new features and maintain the current documentation set
  • Provide compelling, modern, persona-centric UA deliverables for our customers, users, and prospects. Experienced, senior writers will help you learn
  • With minimal supervision, plan and track your own work assignments and deliver them on schedule with high quality
  • Represent the documentation team in development meetings
  • Explore new tools and process improvements in content creation, as well as in productivity enhancements
