KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Educated to Degree / HNC level in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.
• Good understanding of basic lab equipment
• Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet customer/business requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn.
• Computer literate in standard MS office applications
• Well organized and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently.
• Practical experience in rheology, texture analysis and particle size analysis.
• Scientific understanding and ability to conduct analysis in relevant area under supervision
• Experience of working in a regulated environment.
• English fluency (written and spoken)

PURPOSE:

The role of Senior Technician within the Material Sciences group at RSSL is responsible for performing a range of routineanalyses ensuring that projects are completed effectively and meet the customer’s contractual agreements. Perform analysis of a wide range ofpharmaceutical products and raw materials. This role will need to work in accordance with the quality standards at RSSL. This role focuses on the analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials to pharmacopoeia monographs and general chapters for particle size, density and texture, rheology.
