About the Role Join Suncorp’s Internal Audit team and contribute to independent assurance across technology controls and risk environments. You will deliver audits across platforms including cloud, applications, and security. This role supports organisational resilience by helping identify risks and improve controls. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Technology and Operations to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes. What You’ll Do * Contribute to the delivery of end-to-end technology audits, including project and ad-hoc reviews, ensuring outcomes align with audit standards and timelines * Assess technology controls across systems, including cloud, networks, and applications, and provide recommendations to strengthen risk management * Partner with business and risk teams to agree on action plans and support implementation to meet risk appetite expectations * Build working relationships with stakeholders across Technology and Operations to improve audit outcomes and collaboration * Contribute to the internal audit plan by identifying high-risk areas and emerging technology risks * Support continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function through innovation and knowledge sharing What You’ll Bring * Experience in IT audit, technology risk, or governance, applying audit methodologies in complex environments * Knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, networks, and application controls, with the ability to assess control effectiveness * Understanding of cyber security and information security practices, including data protection and regulatory requirements * Ability to translate technical findings into clear insights for business stakeholders and support informed decision-making * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, applying structured approaches to identify risks and solutions * Degree or equivalent experience in Technology, Risk, or related fields, with certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP desirable What You’ll Enjoy Access our award-winning Shine platform – your central hub for exclusive perks, wellbeing support, career development, and recognition.
