THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE

We are looking for a passionate, hard-working health payer technologist who can help us build innovative experiences that will support Blue Cross’s mission to inspire change, transform care and improve health for the people we serve. In this role, you will apply your healthcare domain knowledge and technical expertise to analyze and document system requirements, while leading the agile delivery of technology solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) – required within 1 year of employment.
  • Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills.
  • Strong configuration and administration experience with: Systems, Pega Workflow, Pega Robotics, SAP, ServiceNow, and/or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with requirements documentation including detailed technical mapping.
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies.
  • In depth prototype design and implementation experience.
  • Experience with: SQL, ETL (e.g., Glue, Talend), Cloud (Azure, AWS), GitLab, Jira, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, data modeling, requirements gathering.
  • Experience with claims processing systems, internally developed web portals and APIs, Salesforce or other CRM.
  • Experience with system integrations (real-time, batch, API, streaming)
  • Worked in an organization of 250 or more users with experience providing user support, training, and data cleanup and/or data migration.
