The Role & Your Impact As a Senior Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing automation and digitalization across fermentation, recovery, solid processing, and finished goods production. You will act as User Manager (UM) in automation- and technology-driven investment projects, ensuring solutions meet user needs, GMP, EHS, and engineering standards. Your work will enable intelligent manufacturing and more data‑driven production systems. Your key responsibilities include: Leading or providing technical support for automation projects across multiple manufacturing areas. Exploring and implementing robotics, vision systems, and new technologies in collaboration with external partners. Driving automation solutions for intralogistics (AGV, automated warehouses, RFID/QR/WMS integration). Ensuring seamless integration with MES, DCS, SCADA/ERP, and other enterprise systems. Acting as UM from definition → design → execution → handover, ensuring project outcomes and benefits are achieved. Developing high‑quality IA documents (URS, charters, justifications) and strengthening cross‑functional collaboration. Piloting and scaling new automation initiatives that form the backbone of our future factory setup. What You’ll Need to Be Successful Minimum B.Sc. in chemical/processing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or similar. 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment. Proven experience as User Manager in automation projects, including robotics and vision systems. Strong familiarity with PLC/SCADA, DCS, MES, and data-driven manufacturing environments. Experience with automated material‑handling systems (AGV, AS/RS) and identification technologies (RFID, barcodes) is preferred. Strong project management and stakeholder‑communication skills. Good English skills (oral, written, listening). Core competencies needed for success: collaboration, stakeholder management, adaptability, curiosity.
