We’re seeking an experienced Senior Indirect Tax Accountant with expertise in telecommunications tax and property tax compliance. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor within our finance team — helping us navigate complex, multi-state tax requirements, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and process improvement. Prior experience with VoIP state and federal legislation and regulations are essential. Flexibility and ability to multi-task and be self-motivated to achieve results are crucial to success. What You’ll Do Research and interpret sales and property tax rules and regulations Serve as a bridge between the tax team and the broader finance organization to ensure tax compliance is part of everyday business practices Collaborate closely with our internal fixed assets team Support property tax assessments, audits, appeals, and reporting Prepare basic to medium complexity tax write-ups and related workpapers Ensure compliance with an internal system of standard procedures and processes Spot opportunities to streamline processes, reduce risk, and implement best practices Jump in on special projects and other duties as needed Requirements Solid knowledge of financial accounting and ability to adhere to general accounting principles Prefer 3–5 years of experience directly related to the key duties of the role, telecommunications tax experience (VoIP knowledge a strong plus) Motivated and organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities A high standard of personal and professional integrity Flexibility and adaptability — you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats when needed, assuming additional responsibilities and accommodating report requests from management Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience with Sage Intacct a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills — you can work across teams with ease High proficiency with spreadsheets and other analytical tools Company Benefits include: Paid time off Full benefits (i.e. health, dental, and vision) Life insurance Long-term and short-term disability insurance Retirement benefits
