What You’ll Do As a Senior Biologist, you’ll be at the forefront of ecological research and consulting, leading projects that make a difference. You’ll: Lead and manage diverse projects focused on wildlife, vegetation, wetlands, and terrestrial ecosystems. Coordinate field teams and logistics for exciting fieldwork across BC, Alberta, and beyond. Develop proposals, build client relationships, and contribute to business growth. Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, high-performance team. Analyze data, prepare reports, and ensure projects meet provincial and federal standards. Travel for fieldwork, with trips lasting up to 10–12 days at a time. What You Bring We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically skilled—but also strategic, adaptable, and passionate about ecological science. MSc or PhD in a relevant field + 5 years of experience (or equivalent). Deep knowledge of western and northern Canadian ecosystems (and taxa). 3+ years of project management experience. RPBio (BC) or PBiol (AB) designation (or eligibility). Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Experience in consulting and working in rugged field conditions is a plus.
