They are seeking a talented Senior Test Engineer to join their Hardware Design Verification (HDV) team in the testing and characterization of complex communication equipment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Test Engineer will design and automate RF test and measurement systems to evaluate sophisticated military communication hardware. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams, data analysis, reporting, and contributing to the performance of mission-critical systems.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience with software management tools such as SVN/GIT and JIRA.
• Strong background in RF and baseband testing with experience in Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and Audio Analyzers.
• Familiarity with RS-232, Ethernet, USB, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Knowledge of networking and radio communication systems.
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems.
• Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, XML, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Strong LabVIEW programming skills for automation and testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Design and develop software applications for automating test and measurement systems using NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Enhance measurement techniques, algorithms, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and other teams to analyze test data and measure performance based on system requirements.
• Automate the analysis of large datasets, producing clear reports to communicate performance metrics effectively.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on the HDV team, offering technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay proactive and adaptable in adopting new technologies, tools, and best practices in testing.
