We are hiring Senior Test Engineer – Automotive Networking & Automation for the position based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with 7–8 years of expertise in the automotive domain, focusing on networking components, test automation, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (UDS, SWDL) and Ethernet-based testing, along with proficiency in scripting and automation frameworks. This role requires technical depth in Python, Jenkins CI/CD, Linux environments, and hands-on experience with network protocol analysis and switch testing.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCES:

• Experience in automotive embedded systems testing is highly desirable.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
• Test Automation: Strong hands-on experience with Pytest, test infrastructure development, and automated test frameworks.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Python, bash, and shell scripting.
• Diagnostics & Protocols: Deep understanding of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) and SWDL.
• In-depth knowledge of Ethernet Layer 2/3 protocols, IP networking, DHCP, and packet inspection.
• Familiarity with Ethernet switches and protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark).
• Experience with Jenkins (creating jobs, pipelines, and scripting).
• Version control and collaboration with Git, including branching strategies and pull requests.
• Strong command-line Linux skills.
• Experience with Docker image creation, container orchestration, and debugging.
